Ardmore Airfield is NOT a security designated facility under the Civil Aviation Rules. All businesses, tenants and aircraft owners are responsible for there own security measures and as such there are several different contractors on site during the hours of darkness.

It is however the Airport Authority's intention to take steps to improve security whenever possible and to this end has CLOSED CORSAIR LANE between 6.30pm and 6.30am daily.

A recent addition to our airfield security are video surveillance cameras covering the main entrance 24 hours a day.  This should be particularly helpful identifying arriving or departing vehicles at night.
